Nag Mahasaya, the householder disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, was able to escape the chains of samsara (worldly life) by becoming humbler and smaller, with less and less egoism; he became so tiny that he could creep through to safety. Nag Mahasaya felt, "I am the servant of the servants of God" -Dasoham. Vivekananda, another disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, on the other hand expanded himself until he identified himself with the entire Universe and so, the chain broke unable to contain his majesty.
