instrument of death

Please be extremely carefull......
A few days ago, a person was recharging his cell phone at home. Just at that time a call Came in and he answered it with the Instrument still connected to the outlet.

After a few seconds electricity flowed into the cell phone unrestrained and the young man was thrown to the ground with a heavy thud. His parents rushed to the room only to find him unconscious, with a weak heartbeat and burnt fingers.

He was rushed to the nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival. Cell phones are a very useful modern invention. However, we must be aware that it can also be an instrument of death.

Never use the cell phone while it is hooked to the electrical outlet!

Thought for the Day

One's actions decide one's destiny. It is of no avail to blame others for one's misfortune and misery. Nor is it correct to blame God as being partial or cruel. When one plants the seed of a bitter fruit, one can only expect a bitter fruit to grow. God is only a witness to the chain of causes and consequences. The way to escape this predicament is by dedicating every act to God in a spirit of detachment.

Thought for the Day

Be thankful to the Lord that He gave you Time, as well as action to fill it with. He gave you food, as well as hunger to relish it. But, that does not entitle you to engage yourself in action without discrimination. When you build a house, you install a door in front to admit all who are welcome and keep out those are not. You do not keep the doors wide open for all and sundry to come in as and when they please. Similarly, screen the impulses and motives that enter your mind; keep out the demeaning, the debasing, the deleterious. Admit only the highest wisdom of the scriptures, the wisdom culled out of the crucible of the experience of the ancient sages.

Thought for the day

The supreme message of the life of Lord Sri Krishna is the uniqueness of the Prema Tattwa (Principle of Love). This message is all the world needs. Krishna is the embodiment of love. This love can be understood only through love. It is strong, brilliant and unbreakable like diamond. It is extremely precious. If you want to secure such divine love, your love for God must be equally strong. You can cut diamond only with diamond. Love begets love. Hatred can only beget hatred. Jealousy begets jealousy. Anger breeds anger. Therefore, if you want to foster love, you have to get rid of hatred, jealousy and anger.

Medical Message

My friend had tumor in his neck. At first he went to Homeopathy doctors. He took treatment for about one year, there was no sign of decrease in the tumor size, instead the size increased. After that they told to take Blood test and TB test. The result of the both test was normal. So they continued with the same treatment which they gave at the beginning. It continued again for 5 years. Then, the tumor divided into three…. when my friend told about that , they said the medicine given by them was so powerful, that the tumor divided into three. One day my friend read about an article… “uchi mudal ullangaal varai “ in ‘ananda vikadan’ journal. It was said that if there is a tumor in the neck without pain then it should be immediately informed to the doctor and it will be examined whether it is a cancer or not. After reading this article my friend informed this to the Homeopathy doctor. The doctor then advised my friend not to read any books like this. Again he continued the same treatment. Then one day when my friend went to hospital, that homeopathy doctor was on leave, so he went to another homeopathy doctor in the same clinic. He changed the medicine and gave them for 15 days. He said that if there is no improvement he told my friend to meet allopathy doctor and bring the test result to him. He went to allopathy doctor and underwent FNAC test. The result confirmed it as Thyroid Cancer. He took the result and met the homeopathy doctor. The doctor said that , if he went to allopathy doctor they will remove the thyroid gland and side effects of chemotheraphy, radiotheraphy and other treatments will not be tolerable. So he advised me to take treatment under homeopathy. But at last my friend was not believing homeopathy. So he went to allopathy doctors and took treatment(underwent surgery by removing total thyroid glands). Now he is taking treatment continuously and he is alright. He didn’t lodge any case against homeopathy doctor. So my advice is if there is any tumor, don’t take treatment under homeopathy. If there is tumor immediately visit allopathy doctors. Tell me about your opinions about homeopathy treatment.

Thought for the day

The greater the number of desires, the lesser the happiness you will experience. Be contented. A discontented man loses everything; only a contented man can experience real joy. The happiness in one's life will be in inverse proportion to one's desires. In the journey of life, as in a railway journey, the lesser the luggage (desires) one carries, the greater the comfort.

Thought for the day

........Barath Matha ki Jai! ....... vandhe maatharam.......Jai Hind!

Devotion to one's motherland is as important as devotion to God. When integrity and patriotism are developed in an individual, his vision becomes broad and his outlook balanced. The motherland is not just a place on the map or an extent of land or a collection of names; it is verily the Mother who feeds the body as well as the mind. It teaches the art of progressing towards the supreme goal of life, namely, self-realization. It is thus the embodiment of both Lakshmi (Goddess of prosperity) and Saraswathi (Goddess of knowledge).

Bagavan Sri Ramana Maharishi

............ Bagavan Sri Ramana Maharishi ......................

......Chanting Vedas at Ramana Ashramam .... a daily schedule at Ashram...

............Ramana Ashramam.............

...................Arunachal Hill ------ Thiruvannamalai......

Tiruchuli a village situated about 30 miles South of Madurai in Tamil Nadu in South India is the birth place of Bagavan Sri Ramana Maharashi. He was born on December 30, 1879. (My Birth Day also falls on December 30 !!) His father named him Venkataraman. When Venkataraman was at the age of 12, his father passed away and so Venkataraman went to live with his uncle in Madurai. (This house was situated at Madurai near Meenakshi Ammman Temple and now maintained by Ramana Ashram wherein Sathsang, Bajan, Annathanam are being held frequently) So he frequently went to Meenakshi Amman Temple. Though he was studying in American Mission High School. his mind moved towards spiritual things. When he was at the age of 16, he realized a near – death experience while he was sleeping in his room and after a gap of six weeks, he ran away by train to the holy hill of Thiruvannamalai. He did Meditation without leaving the place physically and stopped talking for several years. Venkataraman attained Samathai Stage. When he began to speak again, people came and asked questions and soon Venkatraman got a reputation as a Sage. When Venkatraman was at the age of 28, one of his early devotees named him as Bagavan Sri Ramana Maharishi. From 1907, Maharishi became world famous and an ashram was built for him. His devotees and westerners used to come to his Ashram.

Ramana Maharishi always recommended self enquiry. Self enquiry is a practice of meditation designed to rapidly bring about self realization, self awareness, spiritual liberation or enlightenment. Sri Ramana Maharishi always recommended Self enquiry and for the most effective practice to facilitate Self awareness he recommended Satsang also ie. in the form of mental contact with a realized Guru, or more properly the One Guru “Within”. (Satsang means literally association with Sat or Being). Sri Ramana taught that since the individual “I” thought cannot exist without an object, if attention is focused on the subjective feeling of “I” or “I am” with such intensity that the thoughts “ I am this” or “I am that” do not arise, then the individual “I” will be unable to connect with objects. If this awareness of “I” is sustained, the individual “I” (the “I” thought) will disappear and in its place there will be a direct experience of the Self. This constant attention to the inner awareness of ‘ I’or ‘I am’ was called self enquiry by Sri Ramana Maharishi and he constantly recommended it as the most efficient and direct way of discovering the unreality of the ‘I’ thought. He taught that the ‘I’ thought only finally disappears when the perception of all objects, both physical and mental, ceases and only self awareness exists. This is not brought about by being aware of an ‘I’ but only by BEING the ‘I’. This stage of experiencing the subject rather than being aware of an object is the culminating phase of self enquiry.

The voice of the God only heard in the depth of silence. His powerful silence radiating from his presence taught a lot. He gave verbal teachings only for the benefit of those who could not understand his silence. Ramana Maharisi died at the age of 70. Ramana Maharisi lived in Ramana Maharisi Ashram and where he provided spiritual guidance. His devotees believes that his spiritual presence is as alive as ever and so they are visiting to Ashram to derive considerable spiritual benefit. This Ashram is located about 2 miles from Thiruvannamalai at Ramana Nagar, Chengam Road.

LIVER DAMAGING HABITS

The main causes of liver damage are:
1) Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main causes.
2) Not urinating in the morning.
3) Too much eating.
4) Skipping breakfast
5) Consuming too much medication.
6) Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring and artificial sweetener.
7) Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8) Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule." This is because:
Evening at 9 - 11pm :
It is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.

Evening at 11pm – 1 am:
It is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 1 – 3 am:
detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 – 5 am:
detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 – 7 am:
detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.
Morning 7 – 9 am:
absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30 am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30 am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 – 10 am rather than no meal at all.
Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

Healing Power of TEA…

Hot or cold, green or black, this ancient beverage is steeped in health benefits…

WHAT would the world do without tea?” the writer Sydney Smith asked over 150 years ago. It’s no idle question. Tea is the world’s most popular beverage, after water. And it provides protection against several health threats.

Heart Helper: Those who drink at least 370 grams daily have half the heart attack risk of non-tea drinkers. In 2002, researchers in Boston found that heart patients who drank two or more cups daily were 44 percent less likely to die over the next four years.
Tea can lower bad cholesterol levels by an average of 10 percent. In cases where dangerous cholesterol has already stuck to artery walls, flavonoids, the antioxidants in tea, are thought to prevent it from damaging the inner lining.

Cancer Fighter: An investigation found that drinking ten or more cups of green tea everyday delayed the onset of cancer by almost nine years in women and about three in men. And another study suggests another benefit for guys: men who drank three cups a day were 30 percent less likely to develop prostate cancer.

Bone Builder: Flavonoids in tea seem to protect bones. Tea also contains fluoride and substances that stop bacteria from sticking to teeth.
Green and black tea are probably equally protective, says Jeffrey Blumberg, an American nutrition researcher. Even iced tea is beneficial, though it’s usually more diluted. Since flavonoids break down over time, making your own tea is better than buying bottled. If caffeine keeps you up, try decaffeinated – it has only 10 to 15 percent fewer flavonoids. (The health benefits of herbal teas are not well established.) “If you don’t drink tea now, brewing just one cup a day is likely to keep you healthier,” says Blumberg. “Drinking four cups is probably even better. So I say drink as much as you like!!!”

BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS

1.No Breakfast:
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level.
This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

2.Overeating:
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.

3.Smoking:
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.

4.High Sugar consumption:
Too Much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.

5.Air Pollution:
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.

6.Sleep Deprivation:
Sleep allows out brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.

7.Head covered while sleeping:
Sleeping with the head covered, increase the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.

8.Working your brain during illness:
Working hard or stydying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.

9.Lacking in stimulating thoughts:
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.

10.Talking Rarely:
Intellectual conversations will plromote the efficency of the brain.

I Believe......

I believe..........
-------------------
I believe...
That just because two people argue,
It doesn't mean they don't love each other.
And just because they don't argue,
It doesn't mean they do love each other.

I believe..
That we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends chage.

I belive.......
That no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I believe...
That true friendship continues to grow, even over
The longest distance. Same goes for true love.

I believe...
That you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.

I believe..
That it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.

I belive....
That you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.

I belive..
That you can keep going long after you think you can't.

I belive..
That we are responsible for what we do,
No matter how we feel.

I belive..
That either you control your attidue or it controls you.

I belive..
that heroes are the people who do what has to be done
When it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.

I belive..
That money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I believe..
That my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.

I believe....
that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down will be the ones to help you get back up.

I believe..
That sometimes when i'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

I believe..
That maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

I believe..
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others,
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I believe...
That no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop for your grief.

I believe..
That our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but, we are responsible for whom we become.

I believe..
That you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It could chage your life forever.

I believe..
Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

I believe...
That your life can be changed in a matter of hours be people who don't even know you.

I believe...
That even when you think you have no more to give, when a firend cries out to you - you will find the strength to help.

I believe...
that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

I believe...
That the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.

I believe..
"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;they just make the most of everything....

Have a good day!!!!!!!!

White beauty

On a fine noon
I saw a white moon
Which was invisible to everyone
Yet attracts everyone.
The moon is like a pearl
In the blue black sky
It goes rolling and rolling to the east
It's happy and spreads its milky lights
A white beauty, very naughty
But still looks pretty
She moves n the sky like a nice twine
At last it hides somewhere
When the King
the Sun arrives.

Thought for the day

The impure impulses bind you to the wheel of Samsara (wordly existence) and tie you down to this earth. The giant tree called mind has two seeds; Vasana (impulses) and Prana (life breath). The seed grows in to the tree, the tree yields the seed. The Prana moves because of the Vasanas. The Vasanas operate because of the Prana. But if beneficent Vasanas are encouraged, they will not bind the mind. They are like seeds that are fried, which will not sprout. These Vasanas are characterised by such ctivities as the association with holy persons, reverence for the guru, charity, fortitude, love , patience, truth, courage, sense control, etc.,
