Thought for the Day

You have the valuable opportunity to listen to My discourses and directions. They are imprinted in your hearts; your conversations are centered on Me, My words, My leelas (divine acts) and My mahimas (glories). My advice is: Apply this adoration in life. Show your companions in your towns and villages how disciplined you are, how sincerely you obey your parents, and how deeply you revere your teachers! Be a light, a lamp, radiating virtue and self-control in your place. Do not slide back into indiscipline, bad manners, irresponsibility and evil habits. Do not complain against food; eat with pleasure, the good food you get! Do not protest against any errand that comes your way. Gladly fulfil it. When you need to care for your elders, nurse them happily and intelligently, feeling glad that you got the chance. So live here and everywhere, now and always, with the conviction that I, who sees you and knows all your thoughts, words and deeds, can pour My Grace on you, more and more.
